Our locally owned company was established in 1994 and we have over 25 years of experience in offering emotional health care services to families and children. We are a proud member of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

Veronica V. James

Veronica V. James - Founder & CEO

Veronica V. James earned a Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude from The City University of New York in 1975. She majored in psychology with a minor in business. She attended Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York earning a Master of Arts Degree in clinical psychology. She completed a Psychology Internship Consortium at the Albany Medical College and VA Medical Center in Albany, New York in 1979.  

Between the years of 1974 and 1989, Ms. James went on to become a research assistant to Dr. Benjamin B. Wolman, an internationally known psychoanalyst and the Founder of Aesculapius Publishers. During that time, she assisted Dr. Wolman on publishing several educational books including the International Encyclopedia of Psychiatry, Psychology, Psychoanalysis and Neurology. Ms. James continued her career working in various community mental health agencies and inpatient psychiatric hospitals were she developed a deeper passion and understanding for people with emotional distress.

In 1994 Ms. James found her calling and Our Children Our Future, Inc.: Caring for Our Leaders of Tomorrow was birthed. Since then Ms. James has guided the organization through national accreditation for the past nine years. Over the past 25 years, the organization has helped countless children and families through the use of therapeutic interventions to promote emotional healing and stabilization. Ms. James believes that the family is the soil were children grow. She is committed to improving access to emotional health care services that will bring healing to children and youth who are emotionally and psychologically scarred.

Lola S. Jordan, B.S. - COO

Ms. Jordan has spent all of her working years serving as an advocate for the non-profit community of Broward County. Ms. Jordan started at the United Way of Broward immediately upon graduation as a receptionist and was employed there from 1981 through 2012. She worked her way through many positions at the United Way into the position of Director of Community Impact Education where she was responsible for the development and management of over 20 community programs for a total dollar amount of over one million dollars and a committed team of volunteers numbering over one hundred. The programs under her direction and management included, Reading Pals, Community-Based Connections, Sun Sentinel Diversity Fund.

In 2015, Ms. Jordan was sought out by the Founder of Our Children Our Future (OCOF) and tapped to a position of Chief Operating Officer and continues to impact the community through this current position. True to her passion to serve the non-profit community, Ms. Jordan volunteered her time, skill and nonprofit expertise to OCOF for over four months and was officially hired and has grown in this new line of business. She brings a fresh perspective to our service delivery system.
